One cube has a volume of 343 cubic centimeters. The edge length of a second cube is three times the edge length of this first cube. What is the positive difference between the volume of the second cube and the volume of the first cube, in cubic centimeters?

This means that the cube has a side length of 7. 21^3 - 7^3 = 8918.
Haha, you stole this from FTW.

I actually got it from looking at old MC.
A chord of the larger circle of two concentrics circles is tangent to the smaller ( inner ) circle and measures 14 inches. The number of square inches in the area outside the smaller circle and inside the larger circle can be expressed as x PI . Find x.

x = 49. Why?
Because, Using pythagorean thereom, we get a^2 - b^2 = 49, and by ares, x = 49.
BTW, does any want to make this a Geometry Marathon?

Prove that if a triangle has the same lengths as a right triangles(e.g., 3-4-5) then it must be a right triangle too.
